Brands I’m Loving
When it comes to buying new clothes, I love finding unique brands that allow you to stand out of a crowd. Sure you can always rely on store like H&M or Zara to have something you may want, but you’ll end up matching with just about everyone on the street.
I’ve recently stumbled upon a few brands that I just instantly fell in love with. They feel fresh and different, which seems rather hard to discover these days. While playing around with YUMEHUB, the fashion app that allows user to get feedback on their looks, I discovered the Style Hunter feature. If you’re looking for a specific item you let the Style Hunter know, and it’ll come up with curated fashion pieces just for you! Not only is this feature a lifesaver when it comes to finding just what you need, it also allows you to find brands you may not have even know about before.
Below I’ve listed 4 of my favorite brands that are on the YUMEHUB app now. But you’ll have to check it out for yourself to get the full effect.
1. Rixo London
Rixo London is a British company founded by young fashion lovers in 2015. Their clothes have been seen on influencers like We Wore What’s Danielle Bernstein. I had heard of this British brand before, but never really knew what kinds of styles they offered. After looking for a springtime dress on the Style Hunter, I realized Rixo is everything I’ve been needing in my life. Each of their items have tons of color and pattern, so they feel so unique and one-of-a kind. Even though this brand is a little bit on the pricier side, you only really need one or two pieces from Rixo to do the trick.
Number two on the list goes out to Vanderwilde. This is yet another amazing brand that I came across while using the Style Hunter. It’s a Spanish clothing brand founded by 2 sisters (how cute!) that feels very feminine, but still super cool. I recommend checking them out if you have a dressy event coming up (like a wedding) as many of their pieces are more on the formal side. Definitely a brand I wouldn’t want to live without!
3. Oak and Fort
I like to refer to this brand as the hidden gem of Canadian Fashion. Oak and Fort opened their doors in 2010 in Canada and quickly grew, with more brick and mortar stores in the US and an online shop. The clothing is very minimalist and streamlined with a cool factor added in. I would recommend this brand to someone looking to build up their closet with staple, “I can wear this anywhere” pieces. From classic trench coats to asymmetrical skirts to chunky knits, they’ve got you covered. The best part is that their prices are reasonable so you won’t have to break the bank!
Last, but certainly not least is the Italian denim company, Closed. If you’re in need of a new pair of jeans and want to feel like the closest kid on the block, you’ve come to the right place. Opened in 1978, the handmade Italian denim company supplies classic looks with a modern feel. And let’s face it, you can never have too many pairs of (good) jeans!
There you have it! Four brands that I (and hopefully now you) can’t live without. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think of these brands in the comments below!
